Following the site surveys, we implemented our energy monitoring system to enable us to optimise the site, make changes and track progress made. With our recommendations savings were made in short space of time. We then progressed with the installation of Solar PV after the planning and application process, take a look at the results!

Wem Business Park – Sustainable Energy Maximum Return On Investment
Landlords at Wem Business Park were looking to develop the site to modern standards to attract tenants. Part of the local strategy that ‘all new developments use sustainable design principles to mitigate and adapt to climate change. In addition, decentralised, low carbon and renewable energy is seen as a key part of infrastructure provision’
We wanted to ensure that the investment of the technology was both to the benefit of the local community, environment and our client. The overall scheme ‘The Optimal Package’ was designed and implemented to this effect.
220kW Solar PV system to enable clean energy to be generated and used locally by tenants and excess sold back to the grid and used by the local community. 1
The fully automated and certified MID metering system bills tenants for the power they use which includes power from the solar PV, without the need for extra admin. 2
A high capacity commercial grade 180kW Electric Vehicle charger again including power fed from the solar PV which is accessible by both the tenants and public is managed with automated software system. Booking and fees can be easily accessed and adjusted at any time. 3
Fully monitored electrical system to continually monitor the generation and distribution of power to ensure maximum efficiency and financial return. 4
The above Clarke Optimal package included the CDM management and consultancy of electrical supply from the electricity network which included the supply and installation of new 500kVA transformer and switch room fitted with bespoke switchgear and metering.
